Audit and Risk Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a leading consulting practice in the search for an experienced Senior Manager to help build and lead a growing Technology Risk and Change Consulting function. This is a strategic, high-impact role for a seasoned technology risk professional who is passionate about technology transformation, risk management and delivering exceptional client outcomes. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping a high-performing team, driving business development, and delivering complex, multi-disciplinary technology risk engagements across a diverse financial services client base.
Hybrid 3 days in the office, two from home. Unfortunately, this role cannot provide visa sponsorship.
The Opportunity
- Lead and grow a specialist technology risk consulting team
- Drive business development and own key client relationships
- Deliver complex advisory and assurance engagements across technology strategy, cloud, resilience, governance and transformation
- Act as a SME across technology risk, cloud architecture, IT controls and operational resilience
- Influence senior stakeholders and shape the evolution of the consulting proposition
Open to candidates from BOTH a consultancy and non-consultancy background.
Technology Risk & IT Transformation
- Reviewing and advising on technology strategy, operating models and risk frameworks
- Leading reviews of cloud migrations and cloud architecture (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Assessing IT operations using frameworks such as TOGAF, ITIL, COBIT
Technology Assurance & Controls
- IT risk and control reviews, cloud security reviews
- Understanding of key regulations (ISO 27001, DORA, PRA/FCA expectations)
- Reviewing DevOps lifecycle and engineering processes
- Data governance, AI and analytics environments (e.g., data lakehouse)
