Audit & Risk Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a leading financial services organisation in its search for an Internal Auditor to join its head office team. Working closely with the Head of Internal Audit, the successful candidate will play a key role in delivering a risk-based audit plan, supporting effective governance, risk management, and internal controls across the business.
This position offers broad exposure to both financial and non-financial risk, alongside opportunities to contribute to business process improvement and advisory work. The role involves planning and executing end-to-end audit assignments, including process walkthroughs, risk and control assessments, and testing activities.
You will be responsible for producing high-quality documentation, presenting findings to senior stakeholders, and ensuring audit engagements are delivered on time and within scope. Building strong relationships across the organisation will be essential, as well as contributing to departmental reporting, methodology enhancements, and ongoing monitoring of audit actions.
Candidates should have experience within internal audit, risk, or compliance, and may be professionally qualified or working towards a qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIA. Strong analytical, communication, and organisational skills are key, along with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
