Audit & Risk Recruitment are working with a major midlands industrial company to help source an IT Audit Manager. This role reports to the Head of IT Audit and is part of the wider Internal Audit & Risk Management team.
In this role, the IT Audit Manager will be planning and conducting IT audits in accordance with an agreed plan of work, to improve the effectiveness of risk management and strengthen the IT internal control environment. The IT Audit Manager will do this by:
- Offering specialist insight, expertise, and advice and robustly and constructively challenging current internal controls
- Developing recommendations to management to improve internal controls and promoting a culture of transparency and openness
- Building relationships with IT Stakeholders across the business.
Position Qualifications:
- Prior experience of IT audit, IT risk management and IT internal controls
- Preferable IT Internal Audit experience (E.g Cyber)
- Ideally a professional qualification (CISA/CISSP) and/or educated to degree level and/or experience in IT
