Audit & Risk Recruitment are working with a FTSE 100 business in the telecommunications sector. This business has a selection of financial services products (money transfers, mobile payments) which require specialist regulatory support from a legal compliance perspective. Our client is in need of technical expertise in the anti-money laundering (AML) space. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to leave financial services to work in the telco/tech sector.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Strategic partnership with members of the senior leadership team, ensuring compliance with regulations and providing expertise aimed at mitigating risks surrounding financial crime, particularly anti-money laundering (AML)
- Working with regional markets to assess their risk mitigation strategies and project managing remediations and improvements to the compliance programs.
- Driving the implementation of group-wide compliance policies and programs to regional markets, working as the go-between for Group and Regions.
- Delivering tailored training programmes on financial crime and compliance.
- Regulatory reporting
The ideal candidate for this role will be an established Compliance Manager with a keen understanding of financial crime in regulated sectors (banking, insurance for example). You\’ll be an analytic thinker and problem solver who can digest complex information and make it understandable for others.
