About the Role
Audit Consulting Group is expanding and is looking for a Client Onboarding & Sales Officer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a motivated student or junior specialist with an interest in accounting, tax, and client management within a UK professional services environment.
You will be the first point of contact for prospective and existing clients, supporting sales activity and managing the full onboarding process. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a UK accounting firm while developing strong commercial and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact new leads and present Audit Consulting Group’s accounting and tax services
- Act as the first point of contact for new and existing clients
- Manage the full client onboarding process from initial enquiry to engagement
- Assist with company formations and registrations (HMRC, VAT, PAYE, CIS, etc.)
- Collect and review client information and documentation
- Maintain and update CRM records accurately
- Coordinate with accountants and tax advisors to ensure smooth client handover
Requirements
- Student or graduate in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
- Basic understanding of UK company structures and onboarding processes
- Interest in accounting, tax, and professional services
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- High attention to detail and good organisational skills
- Confident, proactive, and client-focused attitude
- Experience in a UK accounting firm is an advantage but not essential
