We're offering a rare and exciting opportunity to train as a Trainee Audiologist through our Hearing Aid Dispenser (HAD) Level 5 Apprenticeship Programme. This 2‐year programme combines full‐time clinical work with part‐time academic study, giving you the chance to learn from experienced clinicians while building a long‐term career in hearing care.

Whether you're finishing education, returning to work, or exploring a new direction, this apprenticeship gives you structured training, real‐world experience, and a clear pathway to becoming a qualified Hearing Aid Dispenser.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting hearing assessments and hearing aid fittings under supervision
  • Assisting with taking patient histories and helping determine clinical pathways
  • Providing counselling and follow‐up support for hearing aid users
  • Participating in both NHS and private sector consultations
  • Attending university‐based training sessions and completing coursework
  • Travelling between clinics across East & West Sussex as required (driving licence essential)

Qualifications & Skills

  • 3 GCSEs (C/4 or above), including English and Maths
  • Minimum 32 UCAS tariff points (ideally in a science or health‐related subject)
  • A genuine interest in developing a career in healthcare
