We are seeking a skilled and motivated Hearing Care Assistant to join our team. This is a patient-facing role supporting both NHS and private patients across multiple clinic locations. The ideal candidate is compassionate, organised, and confident working in a busy clinical environment. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality aftercare, troubleshooting hearing aids, and supporting audiologists in day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide aftercare for hearing aids, including cleaning, re-tubing, minor repairs, and troubleshooting.
  • Educate patients on correct use, maintenance, and expectations.
  • Deliver empathetic, patient-centred support to help patients adjust to hearing aids.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and follow data protection requirements.
  • Manage clinic stock and equipment, ensuring everything is organised and ready for use.
  • Work collaboratively with audiologists and support smooth clinic operations.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Hearing Care Assistant qualification (University Certificate or equivalent)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Commitment to delivering patient-centred care

  • Wax removal qualification
  • Experience in customer-facing or clinical environments
  • Familiarity with clinical or office software
  • Valid UK driving licence (location dependent)
