Skills and Experience:
- Excellent technical knowledge of audio-visual equipment from all major brands.
- Excellent understanding of audio-visual standards.
- Ability to use AutoCAD and produce technical drawings varying from M&E, elevations and schematics.
- Up-to-date knowledge of the audio-visual marketplace, including products and trends.
- Good understanding of IT and networks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects.
- Good understanding of Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.

Key Tasks:
- Develop design drawings on AutoCAD to coordinate AV requirements with allied trades.
- Review the design scope to ensure functionality meets user requirements.
- Develop rack layouts, detailing rack space requirements, Power consumption, and BTU.
- Create designs for custom metalwork, including input plates, wall boxes, and mounting solutions.
- Work closely with the Project Manager to coordinate the installation of AV equipment with the construction team.
- Communicate any site-specific requirements, such as IT and Facilities Management (FM) dependencies.
- Communicate the required system functionality to the commissioning team.
- Work with third-party trades and subcontractors to ensure seamless integration.
- Assist with system testing/witness testing to ensure they meet the requirements, identifying and rectifying faults prior to installation.
- Verify that the equipment specified is correct for the installation.
- Create system schematics that include audio, video, control, and power components.
- Provide technical support throughout the project duration.
- Attend project meetings, whether they are held on-site or via video conference.

- Review any project variations and detail any implications they may have on the overall project and system functionality.
