ABOUT US
Audio Trader Ltd is a fast-growing UK re-commerce business. We buy, grade, refurbish, and resell musical instruments and pro-audio equipment through eBay, Reverb, and our own platforms. We are scaling rapidly and the warehouse is central to everything we do.
THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to take end-to-end ownership of our warehouse operation during a period of significant growth. This is a senior, hands-on role with real autonomy - you will own throughput, quality, cost, and safety, and you will build the team and processes as we scale. In the early stages this is a player-manager position. You will be expected to work alongside the team on the floor as well as managing the operation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage all inbound and outbound warehouse operations to meet daily throughput and despatch targets
- Lead and grow the warehouse team, from a small team today to 50+ operatives over the next few years
- Own health and safety compliance across the facility
- Drive process improvements and implement new systems and SOPs
- Oversee a mezzanine fit-out programme already in progress
- Analyse and produce regular KPI reports for senior management
- Manage stock accuracy, cycle counts, and stock takes
- Manage and improve staff performance
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager with a track record of hitting throughput and quality targets
- Experience managing and growing a warehouse team
- Strong grasp of warehouse KPIs and a hands-on approach to hitting them
- IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent H&S qualification
- Understanding and previous use of anayltics software
- Experience implementing processes, SOPs, and WMS systems from scratch
- Comfortable in a lean, fast-moving SME environment where you make things happen
- Desirable: experience in re-commerce, e-commerce fulfilment, or multi-channel marketplace operations (eBay, Amazon).
- A background in or passion for musical instruments or pro-audio is a bonus.
