Leamington Spa (Hybrid: Tuesday to Thursday in the office) Full-time Salary £30,000–£35,000 depending on experience

We’re looking for a proactive and commercially minded Account Manager to join our client services team at Adgen. If you’re a strong communicator, natural organiser, and strong relationship builder who thrives in a fast-paced agency setting, this could be a brilliant opportunity to work with an exciting specialist media planning and buying agency and be part of a collaborative and ambitious team.

About Adgen: Part of AC Media, our agency delivers result-focussed education marketing solutions through robust data analysis and sector knowledge. We’re passionate about helping schools, colleges, and universities connect with the right audiences through exciting, bespoke, and highly targeted media solutions. Driven by creative and energetic individuals, our approach to media planning is underpinned by market knowledge, technical expertise with a focus on continuous improvement.

Our Mission

Our approach is guided by three principles: we believe in openness and collaboration; we harness the power of creativity; and we think long term.

What You’ll Do

  • Client Management: Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients, being their go-to for campaign updates and advice. Deliver regular client communications, with support from the Account Director, including leading calls, emails and face-to-face meetings. Compile and present status reports, campaign timelines, and results updates. Stay abreast of sector trends, policy changes, and competitor activity. Attend industry events, building a strong network to support growth and client development.
  • Campaign Planning & Delivery: Translate client briefs into concise internal direction for teams, with a clear focus, deadlines and expected deliverables. Oversee the delivery of campaigns across media channels, with a clear understanding of the impact of each, and their purpose for the campaign. Ensure accuracy and timeliness in both deployment and reporting. Collaborate with channel specialists, providing direction to develop media plans that meet client objectives within budget parameters. Look to opportunities to stretch client thinking and budget, with innovative media solutions. Identify opportunities to cross-sell creative, measurement, and other non-media solutions. Ensure all campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and to brief.
  • Performance & Reporting: Monitor live campaigns and performance KPIs, suggesting opportunities to optimise, and ensuring implementation. Work with teams to create and deliver post campaign analysis with clear actionable insights that influence future campaign direction. Present campaign results and recommendations with clarity and confidence, a clear understanding of what has worked and why, and what could be improved or changed. Pre-empt potential client questions and be prepared to discuss in detail.
  • Project & Team Coordination: Manage campaign timelines and internal workflows, ensuring that deadlines are met and work is delivered to a high standard. Support junior team members as needed, reviewing their work output and offering guidance and mentoring. Ensure that budgets are tracked and invoicing and billing accuracy is maintained.
  • Operational Effectiveness: Maintain up-to-date timesheets and be accountable for team delivery. Ensure financial diligence is maintained, and that client approvals and Purchase Orders are saved in relevant locations and match against corresponding invoices.

What We’re Looking For

  • Relevant experience within media or marketing agency roles.
  • Deep understanding of media planning and buying across all key media channels.
  • Demonstrable ability to lead client accounts and work collaboratively.
  • Demonstrate strong stakeholder, communication and presentation abilities.
  • Strategic thinking, growth mindset and problem-solving skills.

What You’ll Get

  • Salary of £30,000–£35,000 depending on experience
  • 25 days holiday + 3 celebration days
  • Hybrid working (Tuesday to Thursday in the office)
  • Contributory pension scheme

  • Income protection
  • Employee assistance programme
  • 24/7 Virtual GP access
