Audible is looking for an experienced associate director to help drive and manage our global media work across paid and organic channels. Working within our recently established global structure, this role will partner with both the Global Media Center (GMC) and channel teams to drive enterprise-wide value through standardized processes, best practice sharing, and strategic partner relationships. The role requires someone with deep expertise across awareness and performance media channels, playing an integral role in advancing our global media capabilities through growth enablement and operational excellence. The role will work very closely with the GMC lead as well as with channel marketers with coordination across functional teams inside and outside of marketing.
Responsibilities
- Manage global media projects working with stakeholders across the wider Audible business as well as in various regions/marketplaces.
- Own and lead companywide spending documents and multi marketplace key partner budget roll-ups (i.e. Google, Amazon, Facebook, etc.).
- Pull data directly from reports/plans as part of global roll-up exercises.
- Collaborate with measurement teams and channel owners to identify opportunities for budget optimization and cross-market fluidity, maximizing ROI through strategic resource allocation.
- Develop overarching policy, principles, process, and best practices across media for leadership approval and help local teams implement across the Audible services.
- Develop strategy for multi marketplace initiatives.
- Partner with Analytics to improve media measurement framework and redefine metrics of success.
- Collaborate with channel owners and measurement partners to create and execute an annual testing roadmap, aligning key stakeholders on priorities, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to design and execute strategic test campaigns beyond BAU media activity.
- Partner with key media partners (e.g. Google, Meta, Tiktok) to develop and execute joint business plans, ensuring clear tracking of initiatives and regular progress reviews against objectives.
- Facilitate a cohesive media community for shared learning, training, and development.
- Work with emerging territories to implement best practices and “media playbook.”
- Ensure updated channel mapping structure is maintained across Audible services and work with product to implement any required changes/updates.
- Analyze key marketing metrics and help to set guardrails based on Audible service maturity (i.e. marketing as a percentage of revenue).
- Work with GMC lead to define global strategic priorities for media agency and vendors.
- Compile a media agency performance program, operating across all marketplaces working with global lead and key stakeholders across teams/regions.

- As a natural connector between measurement and paid media teams, you'll apply your knowledge of Marketing Mix Modeling and incrementality testing to shape strategic decisions.
- Your experience with ad tech and track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams has helped improve marketing technology across global organizations.
- You're comfortable working across time zones and can flexibly participate in meetings with teams in APAC, EU, and NA regions.
