ABOUT THIS ROLE
Audible is seeking a Commissioning Coordinator to support the Audible Originals fiction team in the UK. The role will primarily support the Senior Director of Audible Originals, together with the wider fiction commissioning team, on a project focused on expanding our partnerships with major literary Estates and IP owners in the UK and beyond. They will be managing submissions, scheduling meetings, and helping with the development process for existing shows and audiobooks. The successful candidate will be highly organised, proactive, and collaborative, with the ability to bring people together and keep work moving across multiple strands at once. They should be a keen consumer of great entertainment, whether that be audio, film, tv, books; someone with spark and a passion for great storytelling.
This Fixed-Term Contract is required to support a defined 18-month project focused on expanding Audible's partnerships with major literary Estates and IP owners in the UK and beyond. The role is directly tied to the build-out and development of a specific content slate within a set timeframe, after which the partnership framework and workflows will be established and transitioned to the existing team.
ABOUT YOU
You bring a blend of team support, coordination, communications in a media, entertainment, or creative environment. You have strong writing skills, particularly for internal communications, briefing notes, updates, and communicating with internal and external partners. You are someone people trust: a calm, capable operator who can handle detail, build relationships quickly. You have experience supporting senior stakeholders is useful, in a publishing and/or entertainment company organization. You enjoy making things happen behind the scenes and bringing order, energy, and connection to a busy team. You have initiative, sound judgement, strong follow-through, a passion for getting stuff done and anticipate team needs.
As a Commissioning Coordinator, you will:
- Coordinate outreach, meetings and ongoing communication with major literary Estates and other IP partners as we expand the Audible Original slate over the next 18 months.
- Support content leadership and team operations through scheduling, logistics, documentation, meeting coordination, travel planning, expenses, and light project tracking.
- Support the development process for Audible Originals books and scripted drama shows, managing the workflow for freelance script editors and copyeditors. Experience here is not required and can be taught to the successful candidate.
- Manage the submissions process for potential future Audible Originals commissions.
- Manage submissions process for industry award nominations.
- Support organization and smooth running of industry events and presence at conferences.
- Create PowerPoint presentations for key meetings with both internal and external partners, e.g. slate presentations, pitches to talent.
- Liaise with Marketing, US counterparts, and other partner teams around key initiatives.
- Maintain light interaction with talent and partners where needed around events, recordings, and external engagements, in close coordination with relevant leads.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience managing multiple projects and priorities across teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
