Audi Revolut F1 Team is the official factory team of Audi, as the brand enters the FIA Formula 1 World Championship for the first time in 2026.

The team is based in three locations: the power unit is developed by Audi Formula Racing Gmb H at the Audi Competence Center Motorsport in Neuburg, Germany; the chassis is engineered and race operations are managed from the state-of-the-art facilities of Audi Motorsport AG in Hinwil, Switzerland; while the Audi Motorsport Technology Centre UK in Bicester, United Kingdom, provides a foothold in the heart of 'Motorsport Valley', with direct access to top F1 talent and key strategic partners.

This position for the Audi Revolut F1® Team is based at Audi Motorsport AG in Hinwil (Switzerland).

Your mission This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated student to gain hands-on experience in Additive Manufacturing.

You’ll work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to real projects that make an impact.

  • Responsible for executing projects in the field of Additive Manufacturing, including simulation and compensation of 3D-printed parts, evaluation of new materials, and development of new post-processing methods for surface treatment
  • Conducting material testing and analysis to monitor manufacturing processes, investigate failures, and identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Supporting day-to-day activities within the AM department like development of parameters for additive manufacturing machines using various materials (metals (focus) / plastics)
  • Assisting on operation of the additive manufacturing machines and of the HIP (Hot Isostatic Pressing) system
  • Conducting research, analysis, or data entry as required
  • Collaborating with team members and attending meetings
  • Presenting findings or contributing to reports
  • Learning and applying new skills relevant to the role

Your profile

  • Currently studying towards a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Process Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Experience in Additive Manufacturing
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Eagerness to learn, take initiative and lead projects
  • Basic knowledge of CAD (3DExperience or CATIA V5/V6) and Data preparation (Magics)
  • Knowledge of simulation tools or / and programming in Python is an advantage
  • Ability to manage time and meet deadlines
