We are the Audi Revolut F1® Team. Audi will compete in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship starting in 2026. The team has three locations. Audi's Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg, Germany, is considered one of the most modern of its kind in Europe. The Formula 1 Factory of Audi Motorsport AG in Hinwil (Switzerland) is known for its innovative technologies and passion for racing. The Audi Motorsport Technology Centre, UK, is in its launch phase and growing continuously. Our power unit comes from Neuburg, while Hinwil is responsible for chassis development and race operations.
Your mission
- Build, maintain, and optimize hydraulic systems for the race cars.
- Design, manufacture, and install hydraulic lines and components.
- Prepare and maintain specialized equipment for the racing team.
- Plan and execute technical tests, measurements, and data collection.
- Support the initial assembly and continuous development of the car.
- Manage Power Steering (PAS) assembly, installation, and calibration.
- Perform assembly and service work for the steering column.
- Execute specific sub-assembly tasks as defined by the department leader.
- Achieve full integration into the Hydraulic Lab team and its dynamics.
- Demonstrate independence in assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
Your profile
- Mechanical or electromechanical education, such as polymechanic or electromechanic.
- Proven experience in measurement technology and conducting technical tests.
- Practical skills in manufacturing and adapting parts using milling and turning.
- Extensive experience in the assembly of mechanical sub-assemblies.
- Proficiency in using torque wrenches and precision measuring instruments.
- Fluent communication skills in both German and English.
- Flexibility to work beyond standard hours, especially during peak or winter periods.
- Strong focus on accuracy and composure under extreme time constraints.
- Solution-oriented mindset with a proactive and collaborative team approach.
- High level of resilience, reliability, and interest in a long-term commitment.
