Join Our Team. We are the Audi Revolut F1® Team. Audi Revolut F1 Team is the official factory team of Audi, as the brand enters the FIA Formula 1 World Championship for the first time in 2026. The team is based in three locations: the power unit is developed by Audi Formula Racing GmbH at the Audi Competence Center Motorsport in Neuburg, Germany; the chassis is engineered and race operations are managed from the state-of-the-art facilities of Audi Motorsport AG in Hinwil, Switzerland; while the Audi Motorsport Technology Centre UK in Bicester, United Kingdom, provides a foothold in the heart of 'Motorsport Valley', with direct access to top F1 talent and key strategic partners.

The CAD PLM Engineer Solutions Architect is responsible for designing, maintaining and continuously improving the CAD/PLM solution landscape, with a strong focus on 3DEXPERIENCE, CATIA, SAP integration and other engineering data flows. The role translates business, engineering, race operations and manufacturing requirements into robust, scalable and supportable technical solutions. It provides user support on PLM and CAD topics, provides trainings and ensures that CAD/PLM processes, integrations and system configurations support fast, reliable product development in a high-performance motorsport environment. The role ensures stable operations with system monitoring and maintenance procedures.

The CAD/PLM team provides the platforms, methods and support required by design, engineering, production, assembly and race operations to work with accurate and consistent product data, ensuring a seamless integration with SAP, for the related downstream processes. This position for the Audi Revolut F1® Team is based at Audi Motorsport AG in Hinwil (Switzerland).

Your mission:

  • Provide expert support to designers, engineers and key-users for PLM and CAD issues, working methods, data quality and process related issues.
  • Administrate, configure and continuously improve the CAD/PLM system and related processes, methods, workflows and system capabilities across 3DEXPERIENCE, CATIA and related engineering platforms.
  • Independently execute projects related to the CAD/PLM system, processes and interfaces.
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders and external suppliers, define technical concepts, define integrations and automation requirements.
  • Provide specifications and implementation approaches in alignment with engineering, race operations, manufacturing, SAP and IT architecture.
  • Support and/or independently execute (in teamwork with our external partners) 3DExperience platform release upgrades (including upgrade of customizations, testing, deployment and hyper-care activities) ensuring stable operation and minimal business disruption.

Your profile:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Informatics or a comparable discipline.
  • At least 5-10 years of experience in minimum two of the following CAD/PLM fields: user support, administration, continuous improvement, design/engineering, solution architecture in complex engineering environments.
  • Strong practical knowledge of modern CAD/PLM platforms, ideally 3DExperience (or CATIAV6), including configuration, working methods, workflows, CATIA knowledge for CAD related methodologies and issues.
  • Experience with CAD/PLM integrations, engineering data management, release processes, change processes, release upgrades and supplier-led implementations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience working with engineering, manufacturing, IT and vendor stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of PLM integration with ERP systems (ideally SAP), BOM management, data migration.
  • Custom 3DExperience 3D Dashboard widgets development and familiarity working with REST APIs (plus if experience developing using 3DExperience native APIs).
  • Structured, analytical and pragmatic approach to problem solving and decision making.
  • Strong ownership, follow-through and ability to drive topics from concept to implementation.
  • Comfortable in working in a dynamic, high-pressure environment with competing priorities and short delivery cycles.
  • Fluent in English; German knowledge will be beneficial.
