Welcome to the Audi F1 Project. Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026. The new team has three locations: the Motorsport Competence Center of Audi in Neuburg (Germany), the Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland), and the Sauber Motorsport Technical Center in the UK. Our Power Unit comes from Neuburg, while Hinwil is responsible for the development of the chassis and race operations.

The position for the Audi F1 Project is to be filled at Audi Formula Racing GmbH in Neuburg (Germany). In Finance, we act as the central interface of Audi Formula Racing GmbH to ensure that all departments are provided with the appropriate budgets and necessary resources. We also ensure that clear frameworks and relevant KPIs for operational steering are transparently available. Enjoying our work is a top priority for us!
Your Mission:
- Business partner for the Operations division: Responsible for cost planning, forecast preparation (VSI process), and analyses in close collaboration with the OE management and other controllers.
- Contribution to overarching finance topics such as budget planning, annual/multi-year planning, and group-wide planning and forecast processes.
- Preparation and analysis of monthly reports, variance analyses, and ad-hoc reports in cooperation with the specialist departments for OE management and the executive board.
- Independent execution of monthly closing activities.
- Conducting profitability analyses and make-or-buy assessments to support decision-making.
- Design, development, and continuous improvement of controlling processes and methods in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders, including active involvement in AFR projects.
- Close collaboration with internal interfaces such as Procurement, Engineering, Logistics, IT, Accounting, and with external partners.
Your Profile:
- Completed degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of professional experience in the financial steering of departments or organizations.
- Strong expertise in evaluating concepts, processes, and investments, including profitability analyses and make-or-buy decisions.
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) as well as SAP (FI/CO); experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI) is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to present complex matters in a clear and understandable way.
- High level of initiative, teamwork skills, and strong communication and assertiveness.
- Enthusiasm for designing and optimizing processes and methods.
- Fluent German and English language skills suitable for negotiation.
