  • Digital PR (journalist outreach, expert positioning)
  • HARO-style responses
  • Targeted outreach to relevant organisations and resource pages

This is not a spam link-building role, but it is also not purely PR. We are looking for someone who can blend PR, outreach, and strategic link acquisition to build real authority in a healthcare niche.

About Us

  • Adult ADHD
  • Autism (including high-masking presentations)
  • Combined ADHD & Autism (AuDHD)

Our goal is to become a leading authority in this space, through credible media presence and strong organic visibility.

Core Objective

Build topical authority and high-quality backlinks that help our core service pages rank for high-intent keywords (e.g. ADHD assessment, diagnosis, treatment).

Key Responsibilities

  • Digital PR & Media Outreach
    • Develop strong story angles in ADHD, autism, and mental health
    • Pitch journalists and editors
    • Secure expert quotes, features, and mentions
    • Build ongoing media relationships
  • HARO / Expert Positioning
    • Monitor HARO / Qwoted and similar platforms
    • Respond quickly with high-quality expert commentary
    • Position our Clinical Director as a go-to source
  • Resource & Partnership Outreach
    • Secure placements on university wellbeing pages, ADHD/autism charities, mental health resource hubs, and healthcare platforms
  • Targeted Link Acquisition
    • Identify relevant niche sites (parenting, psychology, education)
    • Secure contextual backlinks via guest contributions, resource inclusion, and content collaborations
    • Use paid placements selectively (high-quality only, no link farms)
  • Content & Opportunity Strategy
    • Suggest linkable content ideas (reports, guides, data-led pieces)
    • Identify high-value backlink opportunities
  • Reporting
    • Weekly updates on outreach sent, responses, links secured, and opportunities identified

What This Role Is NOT

  • Mass guest posting
  • Low-quality or spam link building
  • Bulk templated outreach

Expected Output

We are looking for consistent, measurable results:

  • 3–4 PR/media placements per month
  • 8–12 resource/partnership links
  • 4–5 niche outreach links
  • Total: 15–20 quality backlinks per month

Requirements

Essential

  • Proven experience in digital PR and/or SEO outreach
  • Link building in competitive niches
  • Track record of securing real placements (media, health, blogs, resources)
  • Strong writing and outreach skills
  • Ability to identify relevant opportunities (not just high DR sites)
  • Familiarity with HARO / Qwoted

Desirable

  • Experience in health/psychology/mental health

Working Style

  • Remote
  • Part-time (~15 hours/week to start)
  • Async communication
  • Weekly check-ins

Budget

£1,500–£2,000/month (depending on experience)

What Success Looks Like

  • Consistent, relevant backlinks secured every month
  • Service pages begin improving in rankings
  • Strong relationships built in the ADHD/autism space
  • Outreach becomes a repeatable, scalable system

Application Requirements (Important)

To be considered, please include:

  1. Proof of Work
Send 3–5 backlinks you personally secured in the last 90 days, including:
    URL of the linking page
Brief explanation of how you got the link
  2. Short Loom (5–8 minutes)
    Review our site and answer:
What are the biggest issues with our backlink profile?
What would you prioritise in the first 30 days?
Name 5 specific websites you would target for backlinks (and why)
  3. Strategy Question
If you had to get 10 backlinks for our ADHD assessment pages in 30 days, what would you do?
  4. PR Experience
Send examples of HARO / Qwoted responses and media placements or expert quotes you’ve secured

Applications without this information will not be reviewed.

Final Note

We are looking for someone who understands that relevance > DR. Authority is built through trust, positioning, and relationships. The goal is not just links — it’s rankings and revenue impact.
