Job Description

We are seeking Signalling Installers, Operatives, and Technicians for signalling track renewals on the following routes:\\n\\nNorth and West Central and West Coast South, from Carlisle to Oxford and Milton Keynes. \\n\\nThe main body of work will start approximately week 30, for a minimum of 2 years.\\n\\nThis is a great opportunity for those looking for long-term work with stability. \\n\\nDuties:\\n\\nRemove and refit signalling equipment for track renewals in accordance with Network Rail standards and schedules.\\nHelp in fault-finding and problem resolution.\\nEnsure compliance with safety standards\\nSupport the signalling team in their duties.\\nReport issues arising during installation and renewals.Competencies and Experience Required:\\n\\nCOSS (Controller of Site Safety) and In Date PTS\\nBasic Electrical Safety\\nSPT/Lineside telephones\\nCables\\nPlug coupled cables\\nDC track circuits\\nEBI200 track circuits\\nEBI400 track circuits\\nAZLM axle counters H type\\nAZLM axle counters K type\\nFrauscher axle counters\\nTreadles\\nAWS (standard)\\nTPWS\\nTASS balise\\nSignals (LED & filament)We require you to hold the IRSE licence categories:\\n\\n1.2.210 Signalling Installation Operative\\n1.2.220 Signalling Installation TechnicianRequirements:\\n\\nPrevious experience as a Signalling Installer, Operative or Technician\\nFull UK licence; must be able to travel and work away if required\\nAvailable to work nights and weekends when required.About RSS Infrastructure\\n\\nRSS Infrastructure (RSSI) is a multi-disciplinary service provider for the rail and construction sectors.
