We are partnering with an extremely fast-growing, well-established sustainability consultancy with exciting plans, now on the lookout to appoint an experienced Sustainability Consultant. This is an incredible opportunity to join a forward-thinking and thriving team.
Seeking a highly organised and results-driven professional, confident in a client-facing consultancy environment. Capable of managing personable account relationships while driving projects forward with clarity and precision. This individual will be comfortable navigating SBEM and DSM assessments, Part L compliance, TM52/TM54, and delivering BREEAM/LEED energy credits as part of multidisciplinary project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct building energy assessments using IES VE, including SBEM, DSM, and overheating analysis
- Support compliance evaluations for Building Regulations (Part L) and planning requirements
- Contribute to sustainability assessments such as BREEAM, WELL, and LEED as needed
- Present findings effectively to clients, design teams, and internal stakeholders
- Manage multiple projects efficiently with strong organisational skills
- Stay informed on the latest energy modelling practices and compliance standards
Key Requirements:
- At least two years of hands-on experience using IES VE for real-world projects
- Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations, including Part L compliance
- Proven ability to independently develop SBEM and DSM models
- Experience in thermal comfort analysis, overheating assessments, and passive design strategies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively
