Auctionet is a marketplace where auction houses from Sweden, Great Britain, Finland, Spain, Germany, and Denmark sell furniture, art, design objects, collectibles, and much more. We are now looking for a Fine Art Driver & Handler who wants to be part of our team and contribute to the seamless, safe delivery of unique treasures to our clients across the UK.

About the Role

We offer a dynamic, hands‑on role where no two days are the same. You won’t just be driving; you will be the guardian of history and design. We are looking for someone who treats every item—whether a contemporary painting or a 17th‑century cabinet—with the utmost respect.

  • Specialist Logistics: Safely operating a 3.5T Luton van for collections from auction houses and deliveries, primarily between our Westbury logistics centre, London hub, and private residences.
  • Expert Handling: Packing, soft‑wrapping, and securing high‑value items to museum standards to ensure they arrive in 'auction‑ready' condition.
  • Client Interaction: Acting as a professional ambassador for Auctionet, providing a discreet and personable 'white‑glove' service at every doorstep.

This role is based in Feltham, West London.

About the Team

You’ll be joining our dedicated UK logistics team. We are a group of problem‑solvers who pride ourselves on precision and care. While the job involves plenty of independent driving, you are backed by a supportive operations team and a global network of colleagues who are passionate about the circular economy and the arts.

About You

You’re someone who’s naturally attentive to detail and possesses a 'steady hand.' You understand that in the world of fine art, rushing is the enemy of quality. You are a calm navigator, a proactive communicator, and someone who takes pride in delivering excellence.

To succeed in this role, we think you have:

  • Relevant Experience: Previous experience in fine art handling or high-end removals. You know how to manoeuvre heavy or fragile items through tight spaces.
  • Driving Proficiency: A clean UK driving license and experience handling 3.5T Luton vehicles.
  • Physical Stamina: The ability to manage heavy lifting and the manual dexterity required for delicate packing and loading.
  • Professional Presence: Excellent interpersonal skills; you are comfortable interacting with a diverse range of clients and maintaining their privacy.

Bonus and not mandatory:

  • Experience with condition reporting or basic art installation.
  • Knowledge of London’s 'Red Routes' and gallery loading protocols.
  • A personal interest in art, design, or antiques.
