As AuctionConnect and Tideform continue to expand globally, we are seeking a commercially driven and industry-connected Senior Commercial Manager to join our team. This is a global search, and we welcome applications from candidates based in any major shipping, trading or bunker hub worldwide. For the right individual, location is secondary to capability, ambition and industry impact.

The Opportunity

This is not a traditional sales role. You will join a lean, entrepreneurial and international team with direct exposure to senior industry stakeholders and decision-makers across the global shipping and bunker ecosystem. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a central role in expanding our customer base, strengthening strategic relationships and helping shape the commercial direction of two fast-growing maritime technology businesses. You will work across both AuctionConnect and Tideform, helping customers connect market intelligence with digital execution in an increasingly complex operating environment.

What You Will Do

  • Drive commercial growth
  • Build and develop a high-quality sales pipeline across both businesses
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities with shipowners, operators, traders, suppliers and procurement organisations
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to contract negotiation and closing
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations and value-based presentations
  • Become a trusted industry advisor
  • Understand customer challenges and guide organisations through digital transformation and change management
  • Help customers modernise procurement processes and adopt more data-driven decision-making
  • Build long-term relationships with key stakeholders across the maritime ecosystem
  • Contribute to market expansion
  • Represent AuctionConnect and Tideform at industry events, conferences and customer meetings
  • Leverage your network and market insights to identify growth opportunities across key global hubs
  • Work closely with Product and Customer Success teams to ensure strong customer adoption and retention

Who You Are

You understand the bunker industry and have credibility with customers. You combine commercial drive with strong relationship-building skills and enjoy helping customers solve real business problems. Most importantly, you are excited by the opportunity to help modernise one of the world's largest and most important industries. We expect you to bring:

  • Significant experience within bunkering, shipping, trading, procurement or related maritime sectors
  • Proven success in business development, sales or commercial leadership
  • Strong understanding of marine fuel procurement and commercial decision-making
  • Experience engaging senior stakeholders and decision-makers
  • An established industry network across one or more major maritime hubs
  • Experience with technology, SaaS or digital solutions is highly advantageous
