About the role
As an Account Executive – Expansion, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth within an existing customer portfolio. This is a hunting role inside the farm: you will identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities through upselling and cross‐selling Auctane and Metapack solutions. You will work closely with Customer Success, Product, and Marketing to uncover needs, craft value‐driven proposals, and expand strategic customer relationships across multiple business units and geographies. This role is ideal for a results‐driven salesperson who thrives in consultative selling, relationship building, and navigating complex enterprise accounts.

What will you be doing?

  • Own and drive expansion revenue by identifying opportunities for upsell and cross‐sell within assigned existing accounts.
  • Proactively prospect inside current customers to uncover new stakeholders, business units, and use cases.
  • Build strong, trust‐based relationships with senior leaders, including VP and C‐suite decision‐makers.
  • Lead the full sales cycle — from discovery and solution positioning to negotiation and contract closure.
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Success to understand account health, growth potential, and customer goals.
  • Maintain an accurate pipeline and forecast using CRM tools.
  • Develop account plans to support long‐term revenue growth.
  • Work cross‐functionally with Product, Marketing, and Solutions Engineering to deliver tailored value propositions.
  • Participate in relevant events and conferences.
  • Represent the voice of the customer internally and contribute to product and strategy discussions.

What are we looking for?

  • 5 to 6 years of B2B enterprise sales experience in SaaS or technology solutions (logistics field highly preferred).
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets through upsell, cross‐sell, or expansion motions.
  • Demonstrated ability to hunt for new opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Strong skills in building internal and external relationships across multiple stakeholder levels.
  • Ability to engage and influence senior leadership, including C‐level executives.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Highly collaborative with the ability to work across teams in a fast‐paced environment.
  • Additional language skills are a strong plus (e.g., French, German, Dutch etc.).
