An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Library and Council Services Assistant to join our Te Manawa Hub Integrated Council Services team within the Henderson – Massey Local Board. This is a 24-hour, 4 month fixed-term role, working across a 7-day roster, including weekends and some late nights. Flexibility is key, and no two days will be quite the same.
This role helps keep Te Manawa hubs running like a well-oiled machine. You’ll support the operational delivery of library and council services, helping ensure our spaces are welcoming, organised, and ready for our community every day. When things run smoothly, everyone wins: our team, our customers, and our community.
Key responsibilities:- Support the day-to-day operations of Te Manawa hub
- Deliver friendly, efficient library, council services and Venue Hire to customers
- Maintain systems, processes, and operational standards
- Support bookings, equipment use, and general service flow
- Work collaboratively with the team to keep the hub safe, organised, and welcoming
