About the role: We are looking for an experienced and passionate Massage Therapist to join our ASPA team. The ASPA is Auchrannie’s award-winning spa. We are proud to work with ishga, a Scottish luxurious skincare brand, to deliver luxurious treatments and memorable experiences to our guests.
Reporting to the Senior Therapist/Spa Manager, you will:
- Deliver all aspects of massage from deep tissue to hot stones to Indian head.
- Perform all massage and body treatments to the highest standard and carry out a personalised recommendation post treatment.
- Reassure guests that they are in safe hands and deliver five-star service from their arrival at the ASPA to their departure.
- Actively maintain a good knowledge of spa services and products and take part in ongoing training activities within the ASPA.
- Upsell treatments and retail products to increase sales.
- Complete any other tasks and duties that may be deemed necessary as requested by the Senior Therapist and ASPA Manager.
To be a good fit for this role you will:
- Have completed an HND/NVQ level 3 in Massage Therapy (or equivalent qualification).
- Be confident to perform all aspects of massage and body treatments.
- Have previous experience working in a Spa environment.
- Demonstrate a friendly and polite demeanour with good interpersonal skills.
- Have the ability to work well as a member of the team or on your own.
- Demonstrate experience in sales will be considered an asset.
We offer our therapists comprehensive in-house training throughout their careers including the opportunity to complete certified ishga training in-house. Your standard working week will be 5 days from 7. Standard working hours are 8:45-6:10pm daily, averaging 42.5 hours per week, including weekend working.
