As Floor Manager, you will support the Restaurant management team to ensure that we deliver seamless and memorable dining experiences for our guests and help create a supportive and fun workplace for our team to help them maximise their potential.
In this role, you will:
- Oversee the successful running of each service
- Have supervisory responsibility for your restaurant team and contribute to the development of team members.
- Contribute to a positive working environment and encourage team members to meet and exceed service standards.
- Ensure all service standards are being met by the team including appearance and guest excellence.
- Take ownership of specific responsibilities as directed by the Restaurant Manager including stock management, cellar management, health and safety compliance, and team learning needs.
- Have responsibility for opening and closing the restaurant, adhering to all standard operating procedures.
- Carry out cash handling/cash up.
- Demonstrate behaviours in keeping with company values and lead the team by example at all times.
To be a good fit for this role you will:
- Demonstrate excellent people skills to engage with and support your team
- Have previous supervisory or management experience gained within a fast paced, high service restaurant or hotel environment.
- Lead by example and demonstrate exemplary guest service skills
- Support department training including ensuring that all health and safety and compliance training requirements are met.
- Have a positive, friendly and fun approach to work.
This role presents an excellent development opportunity to progress within food and beverage management. Internal training and personal development opportunities will be provided with the chance for the right candidate to progress and grow within the business.
Shifts will include some split shifts as well as breakfast shifts and bar finishes on a rotational basis. Average working week is around 45-48 hours per week over 5 days.
