Job Summary
The Harbert College of Business is currently accepting applications for motivated, hard-working and detail-oriented student employees to perform a variety of office and event support duties within the Operations Department in support of all departments in the College of Business.

Essential Functions
The essential functions of the position include but are not limited to the following:
- Conduct weekly inventory checks of classroom furniture and chairs, noting any maintenance needs.
- Deliver classroom supplies—such as markers, pens, erasers, and whiteboard cleaners—weekly to all study areas, classrooms, and team rooms.
- Monitor the condition of facilities and grounds to ensure janitorial and maintenance services are completed as needed.
- Relocate furniture for events or office reconfigurations, and pack items for moving or storage as required.
- Support event setup and breakdown, including arranging chairs, tables, staging, podiums, and other equipment.
- Assist with moving and lifting items under 25 lbs. independently, and up to 50 lbs. with assistance.
- Transport linens to storage or designated delivery locations.
- Provide gameday support for the Harbert College of Business.
- Deliver forms and financial documents to various university offices, including Ingram, Quad, and Martin.
- Arrive promptly for shifts dressed in provided uniform, presenting a professional appearance and enthusiastic attitude.
- Demonstrate strong organizational and documentation skills to support daily responsibilities.
- Ability to work 15 hours (minimum) – 20 hours per week with reliability and flexibility.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
