Job Summary

Campus Safety & Security is seeking to hire to hire a Student Grant Assistant to provide administrative support for the Department of Homeland Security Targeted Violence and Terrorism Prevention ( TVTP ) Grant. This position will provide opportunities to enhance knowledge of federal grant implementation and recordkeeping, behavioral threat assessment and management, and communication and organizational skills. Essential Functions

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Document and organize records related to grant activities and expenditures.
  • Conduct research and benchmarking on behavioral threat assessment and management topics relevant to the grant and prepare reports of findings.
  • Assist with collection and assessment of data about implementation and impact of grant activities.
  • Conduct outreach to garner support for and attendance at grant-related training offerings.
  • Schedule appointments and prepare materials for meetings, including presentations.
  • Assist with website creation for community threat assessment team.
  • Contribute to other special projects, as requested.
