As Learning & Development Manager at Cambridge House you will hold a pivotal role in shaping the growth, engagement, and excellence of our team members at one of London's most anticipated luxury hotel openings. You will design and deliver learning experiences that reflect the refined elegance and exceptional service of Cambridge House, while cultivating a supportive and inspirational culture that is felt across our collection. Through your work, you will bring our ENRICH values to life, and learning will become an integral part of the team member journey, enriching both the guest experience and the sense of pride shared across our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a comprehensive learning & development strategy tailored to Cambridge House's values, service philosophy, and operational needs.
- Lead the creation of an engaging induction and onboarding programme that ensures new team members feel welcomed, empowered, and aligned with our ethos from day one.
- Partner with department heads to assess learning needs and craft bespoke development solutions, including service excellence, leadership, and soft-skills training.
- Design and deliver training workshops, coaching sessions, and blended-learning programmes (classroom, e-learning, on-the-job) that inspire confidence and promote continuous growth.
- Oversee statutory, compliance, and mandatory training to ensure all team members meet required standards while maintaining the highest level of guest service.
- Embed Cambridge House's values and service philosophy into all Management Development Programmes, shaping confident leaders who champion the guest experience.
- Promote career development within the hotel by creating structured pathways and supporting succession planning.
- Evaluate the impact of learning initiatives through feedback, assessments, and performance data, refining programmes to maximise their relevance and effectiveness.
- Embody and advocate Cambridge House's values in all learning delivery, promoting a warm, respectful, and refined service culture.
- Proven experience in a Learning & Development role within luxury hospitality or high-end service environments.
- Strong facilitation, coaching, and presentation skills.
- Experience designing and implementing blended learning programmes, including familiarity with LMS platforms.
- Excellent stakeholder-management skills, demonstrated by successful collaboration with senior leadership and operational teams.
- Strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability: comfortable creating long-term plans and also delivering direct training.
- Analytical mindset, able to assess learning effectiveness, use metrics, and adapt programmes for continuous improvement.
- Passion for luxury hospitality, with a genuine desire to see every team member thrive and deliver outstanding guest experiences.
