Pensions Analyst (Permanent)

This role is a 6-month to 1 year contract which will require travel between both the UK and Doha, Qatar a week per month* Day rate: £600 to £750 per day Aubay UK is seeking an experienced Settlements Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in energy and ensuring accurate and timely settlement of physical and financial LNG transactions. Responsibilities include trade validation, invoice reconciliation, and issue resolution, while coordinating with traders, finance, and counterparties. Advanced degree (PhD or MS) in a quantitative subject such as Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a settlements analyst within energy commodities trading, with a strong focus on trading and reconciliation. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with a strong grasp of programming and numerical techniques. Settlements domain expertise, particularly trading experience covering Shipping and LNG Working experience in SAP system Knowledge on TCP agreements (Time Charter party) to cover Vessel Charter and all shipping ancillary cost settlements Strong ability to work in VBA files The role includes working with Front office, Middle office, and other Back-office teams.
