Aubay UK is seeking a Marketing Associate to join our team and help us continue growing our presence in the UK and Middle Eastern market. As a talent resourcing partner, we recruit and hire top-tier talent - often with niche technical expertise - to be deployed on placements with our clients in the Energy, FinTech, Financial Services and Asset Management sectors.
In this role, you’ll be exposed to a wide range of areas including communications, events, website management and employer branding. We’re looking for someone who is proactive, adaptable and ready to take ownership of their work. To succeed in this role, you must be comfortable working independently and able to prioritise a varied workload with professionalism and creativity. This is a high-responsibility role with a lot of autonomy. You’ll be expected to deliver creative marketing solutions.
You’ll be trusted to take ownership of marketing, working independently while staying closely connected to the team. We’re a close-knit group and we’re looking for someone who will complement our dynamic, collaborative culture - someone who’s thoughtful, proactive and genuinely excited to contribute to our shared success.
We currently work on a hybrid basis, 2–3 days per week from Level39, a tech community and co-working space in the iconic One Canada Square building in Canary Wharf.
About You
- A self-starter with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Experienced in marketing, ideally within start-up environments supporting recruitment for tech, energy, or financial services.
- Comfortable working independently, managing your own workload and making decisions.
- A strategic thinker who can see the bigger picture but also enjoys rolling up your sleeves to execute the details.
- A strong communicator who is articulate in writing, confident in presenting and able to tailor messaging to different audiences.
- Skilled in tools like Canva, Figma and Mailchimp – or quick to learn and adapt to new platforms.
- Naturally curious and adaptable, with a growth mindset and a willingness to explore new ideas, tools and approaches.
- Professional, brand-focused and detail-oriented, with a high standard for everything you produce.
- Willing to support the team with light admin tasks when needed.
Required Skills and Experience
- Experience creating and managing marketing campaigns and communications strategy.
- Digital marketing skills or interest in learning digital marketing tools.
- Social media management and website content administration.
- Ability to create presentations for clients, stakeholders and internal use.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to gather information and understand requirements across varied tasks.
- Proficient in Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint).
- Comfortable learning new systems and platforms.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a collaborative approach.
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a marketing role within tech, energy or financial services.
- Familiarity with Canva, Figma, Mailchimp or similar tools.
- Interest in ESG topics or CSR initiatives.
- Proficiency in French or Arabic (a plus, not essential).
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Aubay UK’s LinkedIn presence including job posts and all brand content.
- Activate and maintain the blog section of the website with relevant industry updates.
- Locate and attend industry events – handling logistics, note-taking, networking and content creation.
- Create and maintain marketing templates and toolkits for internal and external use.
- Support pitch decks, presentations and client‑facing materials.
- Collaborate with developers to improve website functionality and user experience.
- Research and implement new platforms, software and AI tools to enhance marketing and sales.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling, formatting documents and internal communications.
- Coordinate and fully manage company events including logistics and follow‑up.
- Support the team with ad hoc business and admin tasks as needed.
