Aubay UK is seeking a Marketing Associate to join our team and help us continue growing our presence in the UK and Middle Eastern market. As a talent resourcing partner, we recruit and hire top-tier talent - often with niche technical expertise - to be deployed on placements with our clients in the Energy, FinTech, Financial Services and Asset Management sectors.

In this role, you will be exposed to a wide range of areas including communications, events, website management and employer branding. We are looking for someone who is proactive, adaptable and ready to take ownership of their work. To succeed in this role, you must be comfortable working independently and able to prioritise a varied workload with professionalism and creativity.

This is a high-responsibility role with a lot of autonomy. You will be expected to deliver creative marketing solutions and will be trusted to take ownership of marketing, working independently while staying closely connected to the team. We are a close-knit group and we are looking for someone who will complement our dynamic, collaborative culture - someone who is thoughtful, proactive and genuinely excited to contribute to our shared success.

We currently work on a hybrid basis, 2–3 days per week from Level39, a tech community and co-working space in the iconic One Canada Square building in Canary Wharf.

  • A strategic thinker who can see the bigger picture but also enjoys rolling up your sleeves to execute the details.
  • A strong communicator who is articulate in writing, confident in presenting and able to tailor messaging to different audiences.
  • Skilled in tools like Canva, Figma and Mailchimp – or quick to learn and adapt to new platforms.
  • Naturally curious and adaptable, with a growth mindset and a willingness to explore new ideas, tools and approaches.
  • Professional, brand-focused and detail-oriented, with a high standard for everything you produce.
  • Willing to support the team with light admin tasks when needed.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in a marketing role within tech, energy or financial services.
  • Familiarity with Canva, Figma, Mailchimp or similar tools.
  • Interest in ESG topics or CSR initiatives.

  • Support pitch decks, presentations and client‐facing materials.
  • Collaborate with developers to improve website functionality and user experience.
  • Research and implement new platforms, software and AI tools to enhance marketing and sales.
