The Company:
Our renewable energy client, in the field of energy management and battery storage systems, are seeking a Project Design Engineer from the electrical engineering field. This is an exciting fast-paced space to play a pivotal part in.
The Role:
As Project Engineer you will take ownership of engineering activities through the project lifecycle, through technical design, client and supplier engagement through to installation. You will manage and coordinate multiple projects collaborating with our Project management team. This is a pivotal role in delivering our clients' energy solutions for commercial and industrial clients. As Project Engineer you will lead on the development of electrical designs and schematics. You will work closely with our suppliers and contractors to review their work. As Project Engineer you will provide expert advice for our suppliers and customers.
The Ideal Candidate:
- The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- You will have proven success in the electrical engineering field, ideally in the renewable energy sector, with solar and BESS of particular interest.
- You will have a strong background in relevant projects and applications across the renewable energy sector with a proven track record in complex engineering projects.
- The ideal candidate will be customer focused and passionate about energy efficiency and renewable energy.
- You will be calm, pragmatic and structured under pressure.
- You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced SME environment with a hands-on approach.
- A driving license (preferred).
