The project: As part of a nuclear project, we are looking for a Project Contract Engineer capable of managing NEC3 contracts.
Key responsibilities:- Support the Project Manager in all contractual and commercial aspects of the project
- Implement and administer subcontract agreements in line with NEC3 contract requirements
- Monitor contract performance, identify risks and opportunities, and propose mitigation actions
- Manage contractual communications (notifications, compensation events, early warnings) in accordance with NEC3 procedures
- Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and traceability of contractual activities
- Liaise with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure smooth contract execution
- Contribute to claims management, dispute resolution, and contract close-out activities
- Initial experience working in the UK environment
- Proven experience in NEC3 contract management
- Experience in the nuclear industry is a plus, but not mandatory
- Strong command of English (written and spoken)
