What are we looking for?

Essential Skills and Experience Technical knowledge in one or more areas web design, coding, cybersecurity, or app development Basic understanding of HTML/CSS, Flutter, React Native, or Bootstrap would be valuable Experience using technology in an accessible way Good communication skills, with ability to explain technical concepts clearly Basic digital literacy and comfort with online teaching tools Personal Qualities Friendly and approachable manner (essential for our inclusive environment) Patient and understanding, especially when explaining complex concepts Kind and empathetic approach to teaching Ability to adapt teaching style to different learning needs Reliable and punctual Enthusiastic about making tech accessible to everyone Open-minded and accepting of neurodiversity Desirable Experience Previous teaching or mentoring experience Experience working with young people aged 14-25 Understanding of neurodiversity and inclusive education Background in creating accessible learning materials Experience in adapting content for different learning styles We value lived experience and enthusiasm over formal qualifications. Our primary requirement is someone who can create a welcoming, supportive learning environment while sharing their tech knowledge in an accessible way.

About Us Atypify is a non-profit digital inclusion project providing free tech education to neurodiverse individuals. Our work is deeply rooted in lived experiences of neurodiversity, and we\’re committed to creating a safe, inclusive space where young people can learn at their own pace.
