Job Description
Our client is a global company that stores CONFIDENTIAL documents for clients such as Boeing, FBI, Amazon, Microsoft, and others.
Responsibilities
- Kneel, squat, reach, and bend forward frequently throughout their shifts.
- Moving, arranging, lifting, and loading boxes for storage.
- Work without assistance to grip, lift, push, pull, and carry boxes, including up and down inclines, stairs, and over changes in walking surface/elevation.
- Lift boxes, read labels, and process incoming and outgoing orders.
- Use the proprietary computer system to track orders and determine the location of boxes.
- Operate handheld RF scanners, climb and balance on ladders.
- Load boxes onto pallets and load pallets onto trucks manually.
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
- Load and shrink wrap pallets at ground level or on carts.
- Load boxes onto pallets and load pallets onto trucks manually and with material handling aids.
Skills
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Must be able to pass background checking and drug testing.
- A previous warehouse background is not needed but is a plus.
