Job Description

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care needs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Provide support with meals, hydration, and light housekeeping duties.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to residents.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ condition or behavior to nursing staff.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.
• Follow care plans and infection control procedures as directed by supervisors.

Requirements

• Completion of a VA approved PCA or home health aide training program.
• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable attitude.
• Ability to lift or assist residents safely and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a nursing home, assisted living, or home care setting.

Pay rate: $14.00-16.00/hr
