Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Richmond

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, mobility).
• Take and record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff.
• Help residents move safely and maintain comfort and dignity.
• Keep rooms clean and follow infection control procedures.
• Support nurses with care tasks and documentation.
• Provide compassionate, respectful care and emotional support.

Requirements:

• Current CNA certification in Virginia.
• High school diploma or GED.
• CPR/First Aid certification (preferred).
• Ability to lift and assist residents safely.
• Reliable, patient, and caring demeanor.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a nursing home or long-term care setting.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
