Through our UK and Miami hubs, we provide time-critical transportation, warehousing, AOG support and supply chain solutions designed to keep aircraft flying.

As we continue to expand our UK operations, we are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Operations Specialist to join our team in Crawley.

Role Description

This is a full-time, office-based position responsible for coordinating day-to-day air cargo operations, managing time-critical shipments, and ensuring the accurate execution of export and import processes. The successful candidate will work closely with airlines, handling agents, customers, warehouses and global partners while maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordination of export and import air freight shipments.
  • Preparation and issuance of Air Waybills (AWBs) and cargo documentation.
  • Booking shipments with airlines and monitoring cargo movements.
  • Liaising with airlines, handling agents, warehouses, customers and overseas partners.
  • Monitoring shipment milestones and proactively resolving operational issues.
  • Ensuring compliance with airline, customs and regulatory requirements.
  • Managing AOG, aircraft parts and other time-critical aviation shipments.
  • Maintaining accurate operational records and shipment updates within company systems.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience in Air Freight Operations, Freight Forwarding, Aviation Logistics or Cargo Operations.
  • Proven experience preparing and issuing Master Air Waybills (MAWB) and House Air Waybills (HAWB).
  • Strong understanding of airline booking procedures and cargo documentation.
  • Knowledge of Incoterms, export documentation and international shipping regulations.
  • Experience coordinating with airlines, handling agents and freight networks.
  • Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience handling AOG, COMAT, aircraft parts, engines, APUs or MRO-related logistics.
  • Familiarity with CASS procedures and airline cargo systems.
  • Knowledge of UK customs procedures and export compliance requirements.
  • Experience using freight forwarding, cargo management or logistics software platforms.
  • Additional language skills would be advantageous.
