The role: We are looking for a Paralegal/Legal assistant with practical experience of working in a Law firm preferably with a knowledge of Litigation to join our busy team in Hertford. The role will include (but not limited to):
- Opening files (including updating spreadsheet & doing conflict checks).
- Fee earner diary management.
- Accounts work, billing, receipt of funds, chasing clients for payment/payment on account, making payments, liaising with the Accounts department.
- Assisting fee earners with bundles, collating documents etc.
- Chasing third parties for responses including the court, counsel and the opponents solicitors.
