The Company Attune is a therapy platform built around a simple idea: that the relationship between therapist and client is one of the strongest predictors of whether therapy actually works. Most directories still match primarily on modality, availability, or logistics. We focus on something deeper — relational fit: how a therapist thinks, relates, communicates, and shows up in the therapeutic space, and how that aligns with the person sitting across from them.

We are preparing for launch later this year, with launch currently anticipated for September 2026, and have already onboarded a wide range of practitioners across different clinical orientations, including counselling psychologists, person-centred counsellors, CBT practitioners, psychodynamic therapists, art therapists, integrative therapists, and addictions specialists. Attune is selective in its onboarding process. We are not a high-volume listing platform; we are building a carefully curated network of thoughtful, skilled clinicians. Approximately one in three therapists interviewed have been successful so far. Our focus is on quality of clinical presence, relational depth, authenticity, and professionalism. We particularly welcome practitioners who are comfortable being themselves in the therapy room and who value genuine therapeutic connection over rigid branding or performance.

This is a freelance, remote role for therapists who want to build and sustain meaningful clinical work within a platform designed around relational fit. Clients are matched to you based on relational alignment, with the aim of supporting work that connects more naturally, develops more quickly, and creates the conditions for deeper therapeutic engagement. You retain full clinical autonomy — including how you practise, structure your work, and set your fees — while we support the surrounding infrastructure: client matching, visibility, and administrative flow. Attune operates on a simple 15% commission model, covering client acquisition, platform infrastructure, therapist visibility, and ongoing platform development.

What We’re Looking For

  • Accredited and/or registered with a recognised UK professional body (e.g. BACP, UKCP, HCPC, BABCP)
  • A recognised and substantive qualification in counselling, psychotherapy, psychology, or a related field
  • Experience working therapeutically with adults (or your stated client group)
  • A thoughtful, relational approach to clinical work, with the ability to build and sustain a strong therapeutic alliance
  • Confidence in conducting assessments and holding ongoing therapeutic work
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to work with a diverse client base
  • Comfortable delivering therapy remotely and using digital platforms
  • A clear commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and professional standards
  • Access to a professional-quality therapist profile photo
  • A professional and confidential remote working environment during video sessions. We ask therapists not to use blurred or AI-generated virtual backgrounds during client sessions
  • Capacity to take on a minimum of 5 hours of client work per week (flexible)
