A leading systematic hedge fund is seeking a Vice President to join its Trading Operations team. This is an opportunity to work in a technology-driven trading environment spanning global markets and multiple asset classes, including equities, fixed income, FX, commodities, and digital assets. Sitting at the heart of the trade lifecycle, this position offers direct exposure to front office activity and close collaboration with teams across finance, technology, and operations. You will play a key role in ensuring operational integrity while contributing to ongoing process and technology enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for trading desk queries (T0 support)
  • Perform daily reconciliations and oversee next-day controls
  • Investigate and resolve trade breaks with internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage inventory and oversee global securities settlements
  • Support new product launches and market expansion initiatives
  • Assist with trade capture across multiple asset classes
  • Manage trade lifecycle events, including corporate actions, transfers, and FX conversions
  • Drive adoption of new technologies and improve operational processes

Candidate background:

  • 5+ years’ experience within middle office, operations, or risk.
  • Broad product knowledge (derivatives, equities, FX and fixed income).
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with Python, SQL, or VBA is advantageous.
  • Degree in a quantitative discipline such as finance, economics, or computer science.
