We are working on multiple Investment Operations opportunities across a range of established and growing asset managers within the Private Credit and Loans space. These roles sit within high-performing credit operations teams supporting strategies including private credit, direct lending, syndicated loans, special situations, and structured credit (including CLO exposure). Each opportunity offers hands-on responsibility across the full loan trade lifecycle in institutional, fast-paced environments. You will work closely with portfolio management, credit, risk, finance teams, and external counterparties.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end trade lifecycle across private credit, direct lending, and syndicated loan portfolios, including trade capture, allocations, confirmations, settlements, and lifecycle events such as amendments, repayments, restructurings, and fees.
- Perform daily cash and position reconciliations across internal systems, loan agents, custodians, and fund administrators, ensuring accuracy across portfolio management systems (e.g. WSO, Allvue or equivalent).
- Investigate and resolve trade breaks, settlement issues, and reconciliation discrepancies, maintaining clear break logs and root cause analysis documentation.
- Maintain accurate borrower, facility, and legal entity data across internal systems.
- Liaise with loan agents, custodians, and fund administrators to ensure smooth settlement and lifecycle processing, partnering closely with internal teams including portfolio management, credit, risk, finance, and collateral management.
- Support oversight of key operational service providers and external counterparties.
- Maintain strong operational controls, including maker-checker and data validation frameworks, to support risk mitigation and governance standards.
- Support accurate position data for risk reporting, portfolio monitoring, investor reporting, audits, and operational due diligence requests.
To be considered you require:
- 3–8+ years’ experience in investment operations within private credit, direct lending, syndicated loans, or structured credit.
- Strong understanding of the loan lifecycle, including primary issuance, secondary trading, amendments, repayments, and fee structures.
- Experience with loan operations systems such as WSO, Allvue, or equivalent platforms.
- Familiarity with loan agents, custodians, and fund administrator workflows.
- Experience in reconciliations, trade support, and operational controls in a credit-focused environment.
- Exposure to audit processes, investor reporting, and operational due diligence.
