Senior CLO Operations Lead

An independent and fast-growing alternative investment manager is seeking a Senior Operational Professional to lead operations in its London office. With an established presence in the U.S. and over $15 billion in assets under management and a large CLO platform, the firm is now expanding into Europe under an experienced leadership team drawn from top-tier financial institutions.

This role presents a rare opportunity to be part of the foundational team building out the UK operations. Working closely with senior leadership, you will help shape the operational infrastructure and provide end-to-end support for complex CLO transactions across their full lifecycle.

In this role, you will take operational ownership of multiple CLOs, including onboarding and closing new warehouses, modelling, and monitoring daily and monthly compliance metrics. You will be responsible for identifying and resolving cash and position breaks, and for developing ad-hoc Excel models for CLO waterfall analysis, historical cash flow reviews, and forward-looking projections.

You will also collaborate with technology and operations teams to drive automation initiatives and improve operational workflows. A key part of your responsibilities will include overseeing asset servicing processes such as paydowns, rollovers, and corporate actions, while ensuring accuracy through effective vendor management. A strong working knowledge of LMA trade settlement protocols is essential.

The ideal candidate will have at least 12 years of relevant experience in CLO or structured credit operations, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with WSO is preferred and applicants must be comfortable in a BAU role before moving into a more strategic lead position after hiring.
