Attribution Search is partnering with a leading multi-strategy hedge fund to appoint a Reference Data Specialist in London. This is a high-impact opportunity to join a critical function within Middle Office Data Operations, taking ownership of the firm’s Global Security Master and championing best-in-class data quality standards across the business. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timely delivery of reference data—supporting trading, risk, and downstream functions in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. From onboarding new securities and attributes to safeguarding data quality at scale, your work will sit at the core of the firm’s operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Owning and enhancing data quality controls across the Security Master
  • Overseeing corporate actions and market data events
  • Managing and optimising vendor relationships
  • Partnering with technology teams to drive automation, strengthen controls, and improve workflow efficiency

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in Reference Data and Security Master operations (buy-side or investment banking)
  • Deep understanding of financial instruments and market data providers
