Attribution Search is partnered with a leading global asset manager who are looking to hire a Reconciliations Associate into their London team. This is a strong opportunity for someone with a background in cash/stock reconciliations who wants to step into a high-visibility, control-focused function supporting global trading activity.

The role sits within the firm’s core Operations Control team, responsible for ensuring the integrity of cash, positions, and valuations across a wide range of products. You’ll work closely with Front Office, Middle Office, and the global operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading cash, stock, and position reconciliations across multi-asset portfolios.
• Liaising with Front Office, Middle Office, custodians, and fund administrators to resolve issues efficiently.
• Supporting controls, oversight, and governance around reconciliations.
• Process improvement and automation.
• Work closely with internal teams to aid with the full client lifecycle.

Requirements

• 1–4 years of experience in reconciliations, operations control, or cash/stock recs within an investment manager, hedge fund, bank, or custodian.
• Strong understanding of break resolution, exception management, and operational controls.
• Experience with reconciliation tools such as Intellimatch or SmartStream TLM is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work with large data sets and maintain strong attention to detail.
• Confident communicator with the ability to interact with Front Office and external stakeholders.

The business is renowned for internally mobility and progression with most Heads of/Managers having started at a junior level within the business and worked their way up. This position is a replacement for the previous incumbent who has recently been promoted into a managerial seat.
