A global asset management firm is seeking a Middle Office Analyst to join its dynamic and growing Operations team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the core infrastructure of a well-established investment business with a diverse range of strategies and an expanding international footprint. Sitting within the Trade Middle Office, the role spans the entire post-trade lifecycle, including trade capture, matching, settlement, clearing, security setup, corporate action management, and the opening and maintenance of global markets. Working closely with the Central Dealing Desk to ensure the timely and accurate processing of trades across equities and, where applicable, fixed income instruments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the full trade lifecycle from execution to final settlement
- Investigate and resolve breaks across cash, transactions, and positions, using third-party reconciliation systems
- Set up and maintain securities; manage corporate action processing
- Support operational aspects of fund launches, closures, team transitions, and IPOs
- Collaborate with Fund Operations & Fund Accounting teams on areas such as cash management and NAV approval.
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum of 4 yearsβ experience in middle or back-office operations, ideally within asset management, hedge funds, or an investment bank
- Strong knowledge of equity settlements is essential; experience with fixed income products is highly desirable
- Any previous experience using Bloomberg AIM or DTCC is highly sought after.
- Familiarity with fund accounting processes, including NAV and cash/position reconciliations
