We’re partnering with a leading global investment firm looking to hire a Market Data Management Specialist to join their Global Data Operations team in London. This is a high-visibility role working directly with Investment, Finance, and Technology stakeholders across EMEA. You’ll sit at the centre of the investment process — owning key market data vendor relationships, negotiating contracts and SLAs, driving cost optimisation, and strengthening data governance across multiple asset classes. You’ll be a trusted partner to front-office teams, ensuring they have accurate, reliable, and timely data to support decision-making.
Daily Duties:
- Managing strategic relationships with market data vendors, exchanges, and platforms.
- Leading contract negotiations, SLA management, and cost control initiatives.
- Enhancing data governance, quality assurance, and operational workflows.
- Partnering with Investment teams across Equities, Fixed Income, Commodities, and Quant strategies.
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and cost allocation processes.
Experience required:
- 5–7+ years’ experience in hedge fund operations, vendor management, or data management.
- Strong understanding of the investment lifecycle and market data products.
- Commercially astute with proven negotiation experience.
- Confident stakeholder manager, comfortable working with senior investment professionals.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
