Attribution Search is partnering with a leading global investment management firm renowned for its scale, innovation, and long-term success across both public and private markets. Operating at the intersection of traditional asset management and alternative credit, the business manages one of the world’s most sophisticated structured credit platforms, and is now looking to make a VP-level hire into its front-office operations team. This is a hands-on leadership role within the investment team, combining operational oversight, governance responsibility, and team management. The position includes direct management of other team members and offers exceptional exposure to the full CLO lifecycle from new issuance through ongoing portfolio management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end operational oversight for multiple CLO vehicles, from post-closing through the full lifecycle.
- Manage and develop a team of two direct reports, setting priorities, reviewing output, and driving best-in-class operational standards.
- Ensure full compliance with CLO documentation, indentures, portfolio guidelines, and eligibility criteria, maintaining robust control and governance frameworks.
- Oversee the monitoring and validation of compliance tests, coverage ratios, concentration limits, and waterfall mechanics.
- Act as the senior technical contact for trustees, collateral managers, administrators, legal counsel, and internal stakeholders.
- Review and approve offering memoranda, amendments, investor and trustee reporting, ensuring accuracy and regulatory alignment.
- Oversee regulatory reporting obligations while maintaining a strong control framework across structured credit products.
- Play a key role in new CLO issuances, resets, refinancings, and restructurings.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Minimum of five years’ experience in CLO operations within asset management, investment banking, or trustee/administrator environments.
- Deep technical understanding of CLO structures, cash flow waterfalls, coverage and reinvestment tests, and transaction documentation.
- Proven experience applying complex legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Prior leadership or mentoring experience is advantageous but not essential.
