Working closely with Senior Sales & Business Development, you will play a key role in enhancing investor engagement, driving strategic business development initiatives, and supporting the growth of multiple investment strategies and funds. Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Business Development
- Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement strategic business development initiatives across multiple investment strategies and regions.
- Analyse market opportunities, investor trends, and distribution channels to identify areas for growth and enhanced investor engagement.
- Produce insightful monthly reporting, tracking strategic objectives, key targets, pipeline activity, and business development performance.
- Leverage CRM systems and leading industry platforms such as Preqin, eVestment, and LinkedIn to generate market intelligence and investor insights.
- Conduct detailed market segmentation, competitor analysis, and investor profiling to support fundraising and distribution efforts.
- Research prospective investors and maintain up-to-date intelligence on relevant markets and jurisdictions.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive investor records, sales pipelines, distribution lists, and campaign activity within the CRM platform.
- Monitor and analyse sales flows, investor engagement, and pipeline progression to support informed decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to improve CRM functionality, reporting capabilities, and overall sales process efficiency.
- Team & Project Support
- Collaborate closely with business development professionals, supporting targeted sales initiatives and bespoke investor projects.
- Contribute to best-practice sales analysis and help drive continuous improvement across business development processes.
- Work effectively across teams, building strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external networks.
- Events & Brand Development
- Research, evaluate, and coordinate industry conferences, events, and networking opportunities.
- Support initiatives that strengthen brand awareness, market presence, and investor engagement strategies.
About You
You will be a proactive, detail-oriented professional with exceptional organisational and analytical skills. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working with data and market intelligence, and have a genuine interest in investment management and investor relations. Key attributes include:
- ~2-5 years buy side experience, ideally hedge fund or private credit in a sales support, client services or investor relations capacity.
- Cross product coverage, credit would be advantageous.
- Excellent analytical and reporting capabilities, particularly in regard to identifying new sales opportunities.
- Experience supporting senior sales/BD and winning new investors.
- Examples of investor engagement and managing investor relationships.
- Experience working with CRM systems and business intelligence tools, such as Preqin, eVestment.
- Passion for sales and ability to represent the funds strategy and products articulately.
