Loan Operations Specialist

We are partnering with a leading financial services firm who have experienced double digit growth over the past five years to find a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join their dynamic Loans Operations team. This is an excellent opportunity to support their global loan investment teams by processing loan facilities throughout the entire lifecycle, from settlement to final closure.

In this role, you will be responsible for capturing and processing critical lifecycle events, including rollovers, paydowns, drawdowns, and interest payments, ensuring accuracy and timely execution. You will also manage loan trade settlements, ensuring that all activities are completed within established timelines. A key part of your responsibilities will involve investigating and resolving discrepancies between agent notices and internal records, as well as proactively addressing reconciliation breaks related to custody and agent cash postings.

You will operate within the company’s established operational risk framework, identifying potential enhancements or new controls to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Collaboration is key in this role as you will be working closely with internal teams to maintain trade flow connectivity for STP.

To succeed in this role, you must have proven experience in loan servicing, with a strong understanding of trade processing and lifecycle events. Experience with WSO/Markit systems is a plus, and a solid understanding of the CLO lifecycle would be highly beneficial, though not essential.
